Advice for Brides: Start your skincare routine at least 6 months in advance. Find yourself a great medical esthetician and head for a consult as soon as that ring hits your finger. Your face is our canvas.
Give your phone to someone else when you are in the hair and makeup chair and allow yourself to be pampered. It also makes our jobs much easier if you don’t have to answer calls and texts.
Make a schedule but remember to go with the flow.
Favorite Celebrity Style: Jennifer Lawrence, Margot Robbie, Julianne Moore. I would love to do Amanda Seyfried’s makeup!

Christine found her passion for the beauty industry at a young age when she stepped into her first cosmetology class in high school. In 2009 she obtained her Red Seal Diploma Certification from Delmar College of Hair Design. Over the last decade Christine has led a very rewarding career, working in and managing some of Calgary's best salons, providing hairstyling for the Calgary stampeder outrider cheerleaders, and a few celebrities along the way including; Shawn Desman, Alyssa Reid and Martin Sheen. She continues her education whenever possible, most recently obtaining her makeup certification.
Christine has been working in the wedding industry for over 8 years. She won best bridal hair styling for Calgary Wedding Industry Awards in 2015, and has been featured in Blush Magazine and Bridal Fantasy Magazine. The wedding industry has become a passion and she looks forward to the busy wedding season every year. She loves working with the bride on her big day to help her feel and look her absolute best!

A little about me: I love what I do...the stories, the creative outlet, the laughs and the people I meet. I hope that shows in my work and my attention to detail. There is such a joy that comes with constant learning about something you’re passionate about, it’s an industry that changes continuously which I find so fun. Apart from work, my family, camping, biking, cooking, colouring (yes, colouring) fill my bucket and make me grateful on the daily.

Advice for Brides: I personally love doing bridal previews to try the look you have mind and make sure that there are no surprises on the day of the wedding. Be as open as you can during the preview. I definitely want to achieve a look which YOU are dreaming about. It is a collaborative process.

Advice for Brides: Don’t let a piece of hair ruin your day, you will be outdoors, you will be dancing and most importantly you will be getting married to your love. Remember that everyone you love is here, they won’t notice that pimple or stray hair.
Be really specific on what you like/dislike when showing us an inspiration photo. Try to pick a photo of hair and skin tones similar to your own.
Favorite Celebrity style: I look up to @bel_pipsqueekinsaion a lot as a stylist. I like Victoria Beckham’s personal style.
